Dealpuffin lets a product put a Stripe promotion code in front of early adopters. Using the site, the waitlist, or the agent tools means you accept these terms.
The service
A provider points at a product URL, connects a Stripe read-only key, and chooses which coupons to publish. A seeker who claims an offer receives the customer-facing code and pastes it at that product’s checkout. Dealpuffin does not take payment and does not redeem the code in Stripe.
The catalog stays off the public site until launch. Before then, the public pages are this explanation, product submission for a signed-in provider, and the waitlist.
Accounts
You need one account per verified email. You are responsible for that account, and for any API key or agent you connect to it. If you are listing a product, you need the right to offer that product and those coupons.
Listing a product
Connecting Stripe imports coupons. Nothing is published until you select it. You can publish more than one product. One restricted key can feed several listings when the Stripe product ids match. A second key is only for a different Stripe account.
You agree that:
- The discount, expiry, and Stripe redemption limit are yours, and Stripe is the source of those terms.
- The read-only key is used to import coupons. You can revoke it in Stripe at any time.
- A code with no promotion code, or a code locked to one Stripe customer, stays off the listing.
- You will not publish a coupon you do not intend people to use.
Claiming a code
A claim reveals one promotion code. One account can claim a code once. A platform cap can be stricter than Stripe’s own limit. Pasting the code at checkout is between you and the product. Stripe may still reject it if it is expired, used up, or not valid for that purchase.
A code that is shared outside Dealpuffin can be used without the platform cap. Do not republish a claimed code.
Agents
An API key or an OAuth connection lets an agent act as you, limited to the tools you allowed. Search does not return the code. Revealing a code is a claim, and it counts. You can remove a key or an agent from Settings.
Waitlist
The waitlist email is for a note when the catalog goes public. Joining it does not create an account and does not reserve a coupon.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- List a product you do not control, or a coupon you cannot honor.
- Scrape codes, create accounts to get around a claim limit, or resell a revealed code.
- Probe the service, other people’s keys, or other people’s accounts.
- Use the agent tools beyond the scopes on that key.
Availability
The site, the catalog, and a particular code can change or disappear. A sync can pull a coupon that Stripe has since expired. We can refuse, hide, or remove a listing or an account.
Liability
Dealpuffin is provided as is. We are not a party to the purchase. We are not liable for a code Stripe rejects, a discount a product does not honor, lost access, or indirect or consequential loss, to the extent the law allows.
Changes
These terms can change. The date at the top is the version in force. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the update.
