What Dealpuffin is
Dealpuffin puts a live Stripe coupon in front of early adopters. A founder points at a product, connects a read-only Stripe key, and chooses which coupons to publish. Someone who wants to try that product claims the code and pastes it at checkout.
Both sides of the marketplace are early adopters. The products are new. The people browsing are the ones who try things first. The coupon is the reason to start now, without a lifetime-deal checkout or a credits partnership.
There is no application, no manual approval, and no revenue minimum. Any indie developer with a product URL and a Stripe coupon can publish. An agent running go-to-market for that product can do the same steps. An agent looking for a SaaS deal for its user can search the catalog and reveal one code. Those two jobs are written up in Go to market and Find a SaaS deal for your user.
A listing can also show monthly recurring revenue as social proof, read from Stripe, and only if the founder opts in. The ordinary choice is a band. The exact figure is a second choice. A hidden listing is the default, so connecting Stripe does not publish your revenue. See Showing MRR. How this differs from perk clubs, lifetime-deal shops, and agent directories is in Compare.
Dealpuffin does not take the payment and does not redeem the code in Stripe. Stripe stays the source of the discount. The code the seeker receives is a customer-facing promotion code that already exists in the product's Stripe account.
What you can do
- Publish. Connect a Stripe read-only key and choose the coupons. No form and no approval queue. See Go to market.
- Seek. Find a listed offer, claim the code, and paste it on the product's own checkout. See Find a code.
- Hand it to an agent. One command installs the skill. The agent can publish a coupon or find a deal. See Install the skill.
The public catalog opens at launch. Until then, seekers join the waitlist and providers can already submit a product.
Frequently asked questions
What is Dealpuffin?
Dealpuffin is a marketplace of live Stripe promotion codes for indie SaaS. A product publishes coupons it already has in Stripe. An early adopter claims a code and pastes it at that product's checkout.
Who is it for?
Founders who want early users to try a paid product, and the people who like trying new tools first. The same person is often on both sides.
Does Dealpuffin take a cut of the sale?
No. The purchase happens on the product's own Stripe checkout. Dealpuffin only reveals the promotion code.
Can a listing show revenue?
Yes, if the founder opts in. The figure is monthly recurring revenue fetched from Stripe, shown as a band or as the exact number. It is social proof, and it is hidden by default. See Showing MRR.
Does listing a coupon require an application or a minimum size?
No. Connect a Stripe read-only key and publish the coupons you want used. There is no manual approval and no revenue minimum.
Can an agent publish a coupon or find one?
Yes. An agent running go-to-market can submit the product, connect Stripe, and publish. An agent looking for a deal can search offers and reveal one code for its user. See Go to market and Find a SaaS deal for your user.
