Install the skill
The skill teaches an agent how to run either side of Dealpuffin. An agent implementing go-to-market can submit a product, connect a Stripe read-only key, and publish coupons, with no form and no approval queue. An agent looking for a SaaS deal can search listed offers and reveal one code for its user. The remote server is https://mcp.dealpuffin.com/mcp.
Publishing is written up in Go to market. Finding a deal is written up in Find a SaaS deal for your user.
npx skills add dealpuffin/agent -g -y
-g installs it for your user, across the agent directories the skills CLI knows. -y skips the prompts. The source is the public repo dealpuffin/agent.
What the agent can do before you sign it in
Search listed offers, read one offer, list open wishes in a category, list wishes on one product, and list categories. None of those return a promotion code. Wishes on the products this account submitted (list_wishes with mine) need the key.
What needs you
Revealing a code, submitting a product, connecting Stripe, syncing, and publishing run as you. Create an API key and give it to the agent, or connect with OAuth when the agent asks. OAuth uses the sign-in you already have on dealpuffin.com. The consent screen lists what Allow covers.
A reveal is a claim
If the agent calls reveal_offer, that is your one claim of that code. Ask it to search first and reveal only the offer you want.
Frequently asked questions
How do I install the Dealpuffin skill?
Run npx skills add dealpuffin/agent -g -y. Then give the agent an API key from Settings, or approve the OAuth prompt.
Where is the MCP server?
https://mcp.dealpuffin.com/mcp. Anonymous calls get a 401 with OAuth metadata. A bearer API key or an OAuth access token authorizes the tools that key was given.
Can an agent publish a product's coupons?
Yes, as that founder. The key needs submit_product, connect_stripe, and publish_coupon. Connect imports. Publish is a separate call, so the agent lists only the coupons the founder wants used. There is no approval step after that.
Can an agent find a SaaS deal for someone?
Yes. search_offers needs no key and returns terms, not the code. reveal_offer is the claim and needs the key. The user pastes the code at the product's checkout.
