How it works

Four steps. Nothing is published until you say so. There is no application, no one approving the listing, and no revenue minimum. An agent can run the same steps. The go-to-market write-up is here.

1. Point at your product URL

Sign in and submit a product: a name, an https URL, a category, and an optional description. Stripe product ids (prod_…) can go on the listing when a coupon is limited to those products.

2. Connect a Stripe read-only key

In the Stripe Dashboard, create a restricted key with read access to Coupons and Promotion codes. Paste the rk_ key on the Stripe page. Dealpuffin encrypts it and imports your coupons. A read key cannot turn promotion codes on at checkout, and it cannot charge a card. See Connect Stripe.

Importing is not publishing. The coupons sit in your account until you choose them.

3. Choose the coupons early adopters can claim

Publish the coupons you actually want used. A coupon Stripe limited to specific product ids can only go on a listing that carries one of those ids. An unrestricted coupon is published onto the product you pick. See Sync and publish.

4. They find the code and paste it at your checkout

A claim reveals one promotion code. The seeker pastes it on your payment page. Stripe applies the discount under your own rules: amount, duration, expiry, and redemption cap. Dealpuffin does not redeem it for them.

Your payment page has to accept promotion codes. That switch is in Stripe, not in Dealpuffin.

Optional: show MRR from the same Stripe account

Revenue stays off the listing unless you opt in. Then early adopters see a band, or the exact monthly recurring revenue, computed from Stripe subscriptions. You do not type the number. Publishing a coupon does not reveal it. See Showing MRR.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to change my checkout?

You keep your own Stripe checkout. Turn on promotion codes there if they are not already accepted. Customers paste the code themselves.

Does sync publish every coupon?

No. Sync imports what Stripe has. Publish is a separate step, so a coupon you use for one customer, or one you are not ready to share, stays off the catalog.

Is there an application or a revenue minimum?

No. Any indie developer who can offer the product can connect a read-only key and publish. Dealpuffin does not review the company for scale.

Can my agent do these steps?

Yes. With the skill installed and a key that allows it, the agent submits the product, connects Stripe, and publishes the coupons you want used.
