Claim a code and check out
The masked code is the claim button. Click it once. The page then shows "Your code is …" with the promotion code Stripe gave that coupon.
Rules of a claim
- One account, one claim, per promotion code.
- Claiming again shows the same code. It does not increment the count.
- You must be signed in on the website.
- An agent claims with
reveal_offer, orPOST /api/v1/offers/:id/reveal, and a Dealpuffin token. That call does not require the provider browse gate. The same one-claim rule and eligibility checks still apply. - The code is not placed in a
data-attribute on the page. Browsing is not revealing.
At checkout
Open the product's own site and paste the code where Stripe asks for a promotion code. Dealpuffin is not in that payment. Stripe may still reject the code if it is expired, used up, not valid for that price, or if the payment page does not accept promotion codes.
A Dealpuffin cap limits reveals on this site. It does not block a code that was copied somewhere else. Stripe's own cap still applies at checkout.
What you are not doing
You are not buying from Dealpuffin. You are not asking Dealpuffin to apply the discount. If the product does not honor a code Stripe accepts, that is between you and the product.
